We are pleased to launch our third campaign of 2025 – Personal Security Awareness. Personal security is a foundational component of staff safety and remains a critical concern for staff globally. Whether commuting to the office, traveling, navigating public spaces, or simply going about daily routines, being situationally aware and adopting smart habits can significantly reduce a person’s risk. This campaign aims to help staff recognize potential threats early, develop stronger situational awareness, and take proactive steps to protect themselves and their loved ones.
Until 30 September, we are aiming to raise the level of personal security awareness across the team.
As a part of the annual security audit requirement, it is required that all the staff to complete the Personal Security Awareness eLearning course on the DIS portal
Please create a profile on the DIS portal, you can log in with your AKDN email credentials.
Personal Security Awareness eLearning course is available in many languages, including Arabic and English.
Please complete the Security Awareness Self-Assessment (very basic few questions), to better understand things you can do to increase your security awareness.
